Mission
Established August of 2002, our goal is to provide an outstanding service
to our students, faculty, and staff; to provide the latest in technology-related
products to the University Community; and to provide the opportunity for individuals
to personally purchase computer equipment and supplies at a substantial savings.
Purchase Eligibility
Personal Sales: Faculty, staff, and students at Eastern Kentucky
University are invited to purchase from the EKU Computer Store. In order to
do so, you must have your EKU ID with you. We accept cash, checks, cashier's
checks, money orders, VISA, Mastercard, and the Colonel Card. Sorry, we do
not accept American Express or Discover.
Departmental Sales: Departmental Sales require that a completed Interaccount form or a Store Requisition be mailed, faxed, or delivered by hand to the store. Send campus mail to:

Store Requisitions may also be faxed to (859) 622-8409. Departmental orders may be faxed 24 hours a day. In order to be processed, the Interaccount form or Store Requisition must include the organization code, account number, and all appropriate signatures.
Personal Purchase Limitations / Returns
* Computers and software purchased under this program must be for the buyer's personal use. These systems may not be purchased with the intent of lease, loan, resale, or use in a business.
* By contract, certain vendors restrict purchases to one system every 6 months or one per year.
Return Policies
* All returns must be made within 14 days of the original date of purchase with the original sales receipt.
* The EKU Computer Store will not accept returns of opened hardware or software packages unless defective. Hardware and software items that are defective may be exchanged for the identical item only. Defective items must be returned in their complete and original packaging (together with all accessories and manuals).
* The manufacurer's repair or exchange warranty applies to all electronics and computer hardware.
* For returns with valid receipts, the EKU Computer Store will refund an in-store merchandise credit if your purchase was made with cash or check, or a credit to your credit card if your purchase was made with the same credit card.
